No Backup service
I purchased Cadac Braai components namely a gas manifold control unit with a burner tube however I found that the gas jet that is in the unit was to big for my purpose I then tried to buy a smaller size Jet from the Cadac Jean Crossing branch but had no success I was told the do not sell this I then contacted Head office customer service and was told that they cannot sell me Cadac spares as I did not have a cadac product no amount of talk could convince them that all the equipment that I was using to build my Smoker Unit was Cadac equipment but all to no avail I MEAN REALLY!!!

Firstly we at Cadac would like to apologise for any inconvenience or frustration that you have encountered. We always strive and do our best to give all our consumers the best backup service possible.
Cadac will supply any spares & parts for our products. In the past Cadac sold a smoker unit but this was an electric system which did not require a jet.
Cadac products undergo strict scrutiny at test houses to comply with pre-set standards worldwide, due to safety and regulation reasons and as such we are unable to supply you with spares for your own custom built unit.
Cadac (PTY) Ltd may not provide parts /components to the consumer in order for them to construct their own products under the Cadac brand as we cannot take responsibility for anything that may occur due to improper use or incorrectly built products, which may be built to standards that do not comply with safety regulations. It is required that the entire product consisting of approved parts has to be approved by a registered regulatory body.
