Faulty Cadac gas heater

I got a Cadac gas heater in May at Game at the Pavilion in Durban as a birthday gift. I opened up the gas on Monday, firstly it has a dent on the side secondly only the middle bar works when you move it to 2 bars it switches off!!!!!
