Cast iron plate cracked right trough

I got an Cadac Grillo Gas Braai (Product Code: 720) as a present about an 18 months back.<br> Last weekend using it for about the forth or fifth time, I saw that the cast iron plate was cracked right trough, to such an extent that the oil literally seeped trough onto the pan below.<br> This Grillo Braai has been stored in my cupboard, thus the damage could not be because of bad storage.<br> Trying to get hold of Cadac in the Cape Town area seems to be near to impossible, the numbers just ring until you eventually put the phone down.<br> From an reputable company like Cadac, I would have expected an much better product, not something cracking as it did, and that without extensive use.
