I bought a phone (R 10000 +) but due to previous bad experience with South African online business chose to collect it at their Gauteng store in Sandton and pay there. When I arrived it was "out of stock". When I checked it was still available. I went back. They phoned the warehouse and I was told I could collect it the following day. I phoned before I left. It was there. I was phoned back about 30 minutes later, there is a problem, its not the color I wanted, but they could let me have another color at the same price - OK. When I arrived I was told very sorry, but the computer wouldn't allow them to sell me that phone for the same price, would I be prepared to pay R 500 extra - OK - not happy, but OK. Off they go. They come back to tell me that sorry the phone they thought they had is for contracts only - they can't help me. 10 days later my phone is still on "backorder" and I receive no other communication from them, other than telling me its on "backorder". I now see the same phone I want is available on their website for the price I orioginally was quoted. I believe this is false advertising.
