Think outside the box

After already spending - easily over R10 000, at CTM Brackenfell, went there to return 2 boxes of tiles and sommer buy things needed for the bath. They are totally understaffed and the couple that are there seems to be on go slow, or like the cashier, will stop helping you to chat with someone I guess that come there more often. I got 3 things and wanted a towel railing -all was "scanned" and total was over R800. After waiting a while I was told the railing is not in stock. Why is this not picked up with the original scan? I then asked if that could be delivered - free of charge, and only got a surprised look. Was informed that there is a buy order for the 19th. I said that I cannot buy the other stuff if I do not know if I will get this railing as they fit together. I was not asked if I wanted to be contacted when it arrive, I was totally ignored on dropping it off in Parow or even Bellville where I work. So saving R30 petrol is more important than the overall sale. Since the staff attitude is - this is what we have, take it or go somewhere else, that is what I will do. Just glad I am not the owner of that store having such short-minded staff.
