Take a magnifying glass to CTM prior to purchasing a bath...

I am an ancient CTM client buying regularly from tiles, to plumbing and bathroom and kitchen fittings, However, I recently purchased a smallish Piaza corner bath, loaded it myself in my tupperware trailor and had it fitted by a plumber without a single funny-bussines. After instalation and tilling I first filled the bath with water and even bathed in the lined bath (water saver, I come from WC) prior to removing the plastic lining. After about a week of use the shiny bit started cracking on the side, at the footend of the bath.... At first I actually thought it to be a bit of lining remaining.... I reported it with pictures etc. The factory sent a guy who decided it to be a crack. After enquiry I finaly got a .... wrong instalation mot factory fault.... reply. Today the factory boss came knocked on the sides and confirmed, wrong instalation.....not their problem. Apparently I should have buildt a corner support, and then packed the whole cavity with a mixture of 1:2 wettish cement and riversand.... my packing of riversand and manner of building it in is pocking it and causing pressure etc.... If I used an proffesional CTM accredited plumber it would not have happened So sorry, but after 8 cornerbathes.... some litterally hovering over wooden floors in a gueat house, this is the first time I heard of this almost cementing a bath into position.... I am not at all happy with this quick fix of passing the problem to the client, after a propper/real/trained plumber actually fitted a suposedly easy to fit bath..... O yeah... he did not follow the non existant fixing instructions, and I signed for the bath as in perfect condition....thus not CTM or the factories problem. Who else has experienced problems
