Shower - Unsafe hardened glass

So I bought two showers from CTM Alberton about two months back. Was renovating the whole house and only got to fit the 2nd shower today in the guest bathroom. All went well until I had to fit the 2nd stationery panel, the first panel that was already in position shattered/exploded into thousands of pieces. The glass shattered so far that I stood in shock. Cleaned up the glass with the vacuum. Then decided to check hello Peter. With a big shock I saw how many people has actually reported their experience with the same shower. I decided to go to report this to CTM Alberton. Introduced myself and explained to the manager what happened. He rep**** that they have sold about 3000 of these units without any reports. I gave him my phone and asked him to read the complaints. He then read and said he will phone someone. He put the phone on loud speaker and when he started speaking to the other guy he said that he has a client with another complaint of a 'code' shattered glass. The guy on the other side laughed about this. He then said the manager should take my particulars as he would try and see me Monday morning to look at what happened and hanged up. The manager told me that they can replace the glass for me and I told him that I am not interested in this shower as it is dangerous andI am not going to put my family in harms way. I then asked him if he could phone the owner of the branch. He then laughed at me and said he is the owner. I said I am glad as we can then sort this out. He asked me what I wanted and I rep**** that I would like to return this shower and him to return my money. He laughed at me and said you will not get your money back. I then asked him for my receipt back and that I will take the matter further. He gave it back to me and turned his back to me assisting another client that was waiting for him. Gladly contact me regarding this. I can not believe the arrogance regarding after sales service and not worried about the safety of the clients. I can o ky wish that nobody gets hurt. I believe there is a lot of this that happens that is not even reported.
