Online order can't be fulfilled

I placed an order online and it showed that there have availability. only to be called a day later that they don't have stock and that I should go and collect at other branches when I specifically put in the store which I want to collect from.

I ask that they order from that store and I can collect at the store that I chose to collect from and I'm told they don't know when they will have the item collected from the 2 stores they told me to collect from. like? what kind of service is this?
