Extremely Horrible Experience at CTM Centurion Old Johannesburg Road

I went into CTM to buy a few boxes of tiles, something that should've caused me less than half an hour because I went in with samples and i knew exactly what I was looking for. Little did i know that I would be there for a very unpleasant and frustrating 2 HOURS!! I had the most frustrating experience at CTM Centurion on Old Johannesburg Road. After making a purchase, I swiped my FNB bank Card. As per norm after swiping, I received an in contact message from the bank indicating that the money had been reserved for purchase at CTM and also indicated a decreased available balance. The system of the lady who had been assisting me switched off. There was no slip or anything for my purchase since her machine turned black. Then the nightmare began. I was advised that the money is not reflecting on their side and that I needed to go to the bank and query this with them. I showed them the message received from FNB showing that my available balance decreased after I had swiped my card. The lady then tried to call SAP but was told by SAP that they couldn't assist- just like that! Their machine switches off during a transaction but they can't assist. I then had to call (use my minutes/resources) my bank who explained to the lady that on they can clearly see that the funds left my account as it showed an decreased available balance after the transaction and that the funds would reflect on the Merchant's (CTM) side. Still I was told that I couldn't get the goods. I was not certain whether my money would be refunded back to my account based on what the bank had said so I was not comfortable leaving until that happened at the least. The poor lady called the manager Prem Surajee to come and assist but I could hear him on the other line saying that there was nothing he could do, I should just leave and wait for the funds to be refunded back to me.... the audacity !! After an hour and 30 minutes of just being frustrated at CTM I informed the lady that I would not go without either my money back into my account or the goods I had come for. Poor pregnant lady called the manager again who finally decided to grace us with his presence. I explained to him what the bank said about the money being on the merchant's side but he was still saying I should leave without the goods or money. 2 hours later the manager then decides its ok I could leave with the goods and should the money reflect in my card I must EFT back to them and that he will also check if it reflects on their side. He then makes the poor lady take responsibility in the event the money does reflect into my account but I do not pay (obviously I will pay if it does I'm no ********). He is the manager, he should've taken responsibility and not transfer the risk on one of his surbodinates. He is not a good manager at all.
