Excellent customer service from CTM Herm****

While installing a washbasin and cabinet purchased from CTM Herm**** we discovered a crack in the basin that had eluded our attention at the time of delivery. We duly returned to CTM to request an intact replacement, and were attended to by the manager (whose name I regrettably didn't note at the time). He was clearly somewhat sceptical regarding our claim that the basin was cracked before we received it (I didn't blame him - I would have been, too) particularly since the packaging had been opened by the couriers for our inspection of the contents at the time of delivery. As stated, we didn't see the crack at that time, and neither did they. Our conclusion was that the crack had been virtually invisible while in the packaging, but had progressively widened while the basin was being lifted into place (it had continued to widen when we picked it up to return it). To CTM's and his credit, the manager accepted that the damage had been initiated before we took delivery, and he exchanged the basin for a new one. I was delighted to be in a position to purchase a shower enclosure from the same branch the following week...
