Don't buy tiles at CTM

CTM is being dishonest to their customers. I bought tiles in September 2019 and they were fitted. A few months later the tiles started showing cracks on the top. I sent an email to CTM to let them know of the issue as I was not sure whether the issue was with the tile or installation. I got a response back to say someone will be sent to assess after the lockdown. No one came. My contractor that installed the tiles came to assess and his view is that the floor is solid and the issue is with the tile. We went to the store in Edenvale and spoke to a manager named Nhlanhla who said no one will be sent out nor can they do anything about the matter because the tile cement was not bought at CTM. I called their Customer Service line and spoke to a lady who said they cant help me because the cement was not bought from them. I told her that no one told me that I had to buy tile cement at CTM, had I known this I would have bought it there or bought the tiles elsewhere. She then insisted that I was told, I was confused by this because she was not there when bought the tiles and neither was I made to sign an acknowledgement that should I later have a problem with a tile I wont get help. I also told her I found nothing of the sort in their terms and conditions. She then said they will send someone to assess the damage to 'satisfy' me. I find this to be appalling service and taking advantage of people. I spent a lot of money to renovate my floor and it looks worse than it did before. If this is a policy of CTM they should let their customers know upfront so that they have a choice to not buy their tiles. I want everyone to know this and not buy tiles there because they will not tell you themselves while they are taking your money that should a tile be of an inferior quality you as the customer are on your own.
