Disappointing sales experience CTM Gqeberha

Disappointing experience with CTM Gqeberha. I approached CTM, located in Young Park, Gqeberha (previously known as Port Elizabeth) on 20 October 2021, in search of outdoor tiles. With the assistance of sales consultant, I made a choice of the kilimanjaro tile brand. To my horror, on 26 October 2021, the tiler discovers that the tiles are not square and thus implies additional work of cutting, spacing etc to ensure a neater layout. The contractor's Tiler had already spent some time trying correct the layout but realized that it's not his technical skill that's lacking but on closer inspection, found that the tiles were not square. The contractor advised giving feedback to the company. I provided feedback to the company on 26 October. The response received from CTM was as follows: "It's not 100% rectified and the lady was suppose to tell u.. all Kilimanjaro tiles have different shapes in the boxes". The implication to myself is thus additional labour cost. Thus by not being properly forewarned, I was not given the choice, and thus the job costs me more. Truelly disappointing. Ruth Sauls
