CTM ridiculous delivery charges

CTM's website states that they deliver countrywide, but they don't mention that the delivery charges will be almost as much, if not more, as your purchase. I ordered tiles worth R4,005 (497 kilos) to be delivered, 187 km from Bloemfontein. The quote for delivery was R3,300. WHAT???? For R400 petrol in our half-ton bakkie we can collect it. Who gets the other R2,900? Why bother to make the "countrywide delivery" statement as I'm sure no-one takes you up on the ridiculous fee.
