CTM - Really Dissapointed!

My wife and I recently purchased tiles for our living area from CTM and was left really disappointed. We have been so excited for quite some time to have our living area re-tiled. We went into CTM Brackenfell and purchased a grey 600 x 600 tile. The tile was on special for 110 a square meter. We purchased 70 squares (32 boxes). On our way home, we received a call to say that CTM unfortunately made a mistake and doesn’t have 70 squares of the tile we wanted. The 70 squares that they had instore was made up of different shades. The person who called us then said, CTM Brackenfell has 30 boxes of the 1 shade, and she will be sure to order the remaining 2 boxes from another store. My wife and I decided to go back to CTM Brackenfell the following day just to ensure that everything was good with our order. When we arrived at CTM, we found that the additional 2 boxes were never ordered. We were also told that the shade we saw in store and wanted, was no longer being made. So they shade that the sales lady was going to order for us was different to what we wanted and saw in store. We were left a little disappointed but decided to move on and just order a different tile. We then saw a similar looking tile (also 600 x 600) and decided to purchase that. The price was 120 a square meter and we just paid the difference. The tiles were delivered the Saturday and our tiler starting the job the following Monday. On the Monday he prepped the area and the Tuesday he started to tile. However as he and his team were busy tiling, he noticed that the 1 side of the tile was 600mm long and the other side a bit less (between 595 – 599). At that time quite a bit of the tiles were already on the floor. I was left really disappointed! The following day I went back to CTM and told them about it. I was told that the tile I purchased is like that and is called by a special name (I can’t remember it). I told them I didn’t know this and when I bought the tile NO ONE told me this! I was informed by the sales person that "CTM only produces A-Grade tiles". In my mind A-Grade is PERFECT. If I had known, I would have just taken a different tile. They knew we were looking for a grey 600 x 600 tile. There were 2 people that I spoke to when I went back to CTM to tell them about the tiles. The female that assisted I felt was really rude and had a nasty attitude. There was no accountability. We selected the tile based on the look and what we saw hanging in store. It was advertised as 600 x 600 and that’s what we thought we purchased. An exciting time was really made sour for my wife and I. Our place just doesn’t look how we envisioned it. We are really disappointed with CTM! When we went in to CTM, we thought we were going into one of the best tile retail stores in SA, and never thought that we would have had this experience. There is so much in our home, that my wife and I would still like to do, such as re-do both our bathrooms. I am really hesitant to purchase anything from CTM again.

AND on top of all of this, I sent an email to CTM a week ago explaining the above, and a follow up email, and have received no response!!!

We are SO DISSAPOINTED!
