APPALLING ATTITUDE

On the 17th Feb I visited CTM Westgate branch & as usual, friendly staff who welcomes you as you walk through. I did my shopping/chose a beautiful range. I had a shopping voucher which I needed to top up on, then that was the beginning of my problems.Raynard told me that they needed to confirm with head office if I indeed qualified for that voucher & I can only get my stuff next Monday when they had received feedback. That didn't make sense to me as I was never told this info on my 1st visit on the 23rd Jan & also on the 24th Jan when I received a call back & was only advised of what to bring with in order to claim/use the voucher. I explained this to him & questioned this inconsistency- he did not care neither did he apologise but just told me that he doesn't know & that's what he had to do. As an assistant manager, I expected more from him ie. show some understanding of the inconvenience that I was experiencing since I had to take another trip back to the store - if that was process, did it really had to take about 72hrs to be carried out? DID HE CALL ME BACK THE NEXT MONDAY? NO, I had to do the follow ups myself by liaising with Melanie Kempen. I must say customer experience goes a long way and 1 dissatisfied client can be the biggest detractor to the brand. I wonder if he knows this & how is he able to manage, uphold & be part of such a big brand with his appalling attitude & he could learn a thing or two from the most friendliest of his staff. RAYNARD, IT WOULD HELP U A GREAT DEAL TO GO BACK TO TRAINING & UPS**** YOURSELF ON 1. SOFT S****S 2. THE IMPORTANCE OF KEEPING YOUR PROMISES & 3. EXCEEDING CLIENT EXPECTATIONS.
