A big thumbs up for CTM Lonehill!!!

I want to commend the team at CTM Lonehill for their friendly attitude and helpful service. As someone who doesn't understand home refurbishment especially when it comes to floor tiling it was a quite an uphill task right from making the right selection to getting all the basic building materials required. Well, to start with I used CTM.co.za to go through the various options. Seeing online helps you get a good coverage of various options that they present. I was advised by the call center agent that I must also visit the store and check the tiles physically, may be buy a sample and put it in the space that I want to tile. A quick dash to CTM Lonehill and the friendly staff helped us locate the right tile. He addressed all our queries and we left the store happily. Later that night I placed the order online. The online portal is very helpful only if you know how to use it :). I input the total square meters details upon which the online portal advised me of the number of boxes to be ordered, which was quite useful. Along with this it also advises on the additional materials required including Tile Adhesive, Bonding liquid, Tile spacers etc. There is a nominal charge for delivery. The whole process is very seamless and I believe CTM has got it right. They also have a Tile Visualizer that allows you to visualize your tile selection in your living space using AR technology. Well, I wont say its there yet but it was fine to start with. A very specific instance that really impressed me with CTM was their flexibility to accommodate any changes in your orders. When I ordered online I somehow ignored the suggestion to buy Tile Adhesive. So on the day we were going to start the tiling I had to rush to CTM Lonehill which was the nearest to me. The Tiler accompanied me and we ordered for 45 odd bags of a specific brand and type (fast setting 6 hours). Now when the order was being loaded onto his truck the Tiler decided to change the order. He felt a mix of 6 hours and 12 hours would be good since it will help pace his work. To my surprise the whole process of changing the order, getting a refund and replacing the bags was very seamless and we left the shop with a truck load full of Tile adhesives. All in all my experience has been very delightful. This is a great place to deal with and I liked every bit of my interaction. So, kudos to the team
