Buren High School - code of conduct no longer exists in this educational system!

This school has absolutely no interest in their students! As a concerned parent, I've seen so many kids skipping school on normal school days and hanging around on the streets.

Parents do not get warning letters or fines - where other schools are strict about activities or attendance, and no request for doctor's notes when skipping weekends i.e. Monday and Friday - which is considered... or was considered a long weekend.

There are many kids who cannot attend school who would actually appreciate the opportunity and this school does not care if their students attend or not. Nor do they care about what bad examples their parents are setting by allowing the kids to skip and stay out of school!!!

Why are you allowing kids to be so lax about their education? Why are you not requesting parent meetings when kids are regularly off school or asking for doctor notes to prove they are ill and not skipping???

I'm really disappointed in this school and their code of conduct is most definitely in need of a review! Please re-evaluate your system and sort things out on a stricter level with your staff and more importantly, parents of the kids attending your school.
