Worse Customer Service
I purchased an electronic car part from Bumper to Bumper that was DEFECTIVE OUT OF THE BOX. After wasting hours installing it only to find my car had the same issue, I returned it for a refund. I was then told it would take 7–14 days for their inspection. Weeks later — still no resolution. But the real insult? When I followed up, a manager told me I should just buy a new one while waiting for their test results!

DO NOT TRUST THEIR INSPECTION PROCESS.After wasting 6 weeks waiting for Bumper to Bumper to "test" the clearly defective sensor they sold me, I took matters into my own hands. Here’s the proof they ignored:
1. Defective on Arrival: Installed their sensor → car issue persisted.
2. 7–14 Day "Inspection" Farce: Waited weeks for refund approval.
3. Insult to Injury: A manager actually told me, "Just buy a new one while you wait!" (Yes, really.)
The Irony? I went to Goldwagen, bought the same sensor, installed it in 30 minutes—and my car worked perfectly. I even provided Bumper to Bumper with a mechanic’s report proving their sensor was dead on arrival.
Finally, after escalating and shaming them with evidence, they processed my refund. But the damage was done:
- Wasted 5+ hours on installations/returns
- Paid out-of-pocket for a second sensor
- Endured gaslighting about "waiting for results"
Advice to Customers:
Avoid Bumper to Bumper for electronics. Their inspection system is a stall tactic.
Record ALL interactions. Managers will dismiss you.
Go to Goldwagen or Midas—they fix problems, not create them.
To Bumper to Bumper : Train staff to respect customers. A manager suggesting we buy more defective products is beyond unprofessional—it’s predatory.
