Unprofessional delivery drivers

My package was delivered by airmail when the delivery driver threw my package over the wall. When i asked them why, they told me they did phone me but didn't get a response (Cant fault them for that). It was more the attitude of the drivers that annoyed me - unprofessional and they sounded irritated and annoyed that i was contacting them to ask. However, throwing my package over the wall? What would happen if it it was glass or something fragile? What about signing for it? is that not a necessity anymore? What if it was the wrong address? As much as i appreciate the efforts, i dont think this process and the attitude of the drivers needs to be checked.
