Rude delivery services

Everything is wonderful just until the delivery guy needs to deliver the parcel, they are rude and have no rispect, one called my fiance today WILE WE ARE AT HOME THE ENTIRE DAY and rudely asked "were are you? I was infront of your gate and hooted but no one came out." If he hooted I would have heard him because I'm working outside. And even if we did not hear him hoot why did he not phone? Why did he only phone afterwards just to ask us were are we?
