Refuse to accept Bank Proof of payment

Had to pay twice for Vat/Duty fees. Company refused to acknowledge proof of payment from the bank. That baffles the mind. I was told that unless I paid the fees, I will not receive the package. hence, paid the fees again in order to have the package released and delivered.
