Buffalo Couriers poor communication

Buffalo couriers is the chosen courier company for Shein orders. I ordered items from Shein and it was delivered in south Africa very promptly. I received the notification from Buffalo to pay the tax, which I did immediately after receiving the notification. I did not receive any communication from Buffalo and had to phone to get an update. Last week when I phoned, they promised that it would be delivered within 48 to 72 hours. Still not done, When I phoned this morning, they informed me that it still had to be handed to another courier company for delivery and that it COULD be this week. This is very poor service and they could do a much better job at keeping the customer updated.
