Bad services from courier companies

I have a package that was set to arrive today, 9th April 2024. I call to follow up nobody comes back to your query or even a call to say something. Mind you 6days ago they hand it over to Inter Town logistics, the I emailed Gary the operations Manager at the Cape Town branch. Do you think that man called me or responded to my email? I called to ask if I can collect they told me they don't allow collections. Now bear in mind the package is of no use to me after today. But they quick to ask to pay customs
