Absolutely Shocking !! Horrible service!

Buying my first car should have been a wonderful experience, however, B-sure Africa has turned it into an endless loop of frustration. I received my car on Friday afternoon on the 4th of Nov. Pule from B-sure called me to give me a quote and suggested I take cover with King Price, this added up to R 1200 and something. (More than what I am paying at Miway) I was told a broker fee of R990 will be deduced from my account. Over the weekend I decided that I do not want to go through a broker and I do not have the money available as the insurance pro-rata went off on Saturday (more than R 1000 I must add) and the fact that I had to repair my previous car that same week. I called on Monday and I didn’t not get hold of Pule after several calls to B-sure (had to see that coming, right?) I decided to send him an E-mail informing him of my plan to cancel the King Price and the Broker and stay with Miway, Pule responded saying that it’s not a problem he will arrange King Price to call me to cancel (He didn’t , what a surprise?) I called King Price directly to cancel, no issues there and they will refund me the pro-rata (Cool, at this point we’re still going good). I informed Pule that I have cancelled with King Price and asked that he confirm that the broker fee will NOT be deducted on the 11th of Nov. (You guessed it, no response) On Friday the 11th I received a notification that the debit was unsuccessful and they will re-debit on the 15th. I call Pule to ask him what the actual F#%k! So I was told I am liable for the fee 72 hours after I accept the insurance with King Price ( Uhm, it’s been like what? 68 hours so take a seat, thank you very much) I asked him why he did not reply to my mail to inform me about this? (I’m a pretty reasonable person if I was informed, and I have to pay, I have to pay, sh#t let’s make some sort of arrangement, but no.) Pule processed to inform me that he was in a meeting and didn’t want to be “unprofessional” by replying to my mail after 5pm… (Yes, yes, I know you had to read that twice… but that’s the truth, let’s ignore the fact that he had, I don’t know, the rest of the week to reply? But please let’s not be “unprofessional” here).

I called in on Monday to talk to his manager, Ross, I was informed to speak to a guy named Job in the Finance Liaisons department. I talk to him and explain the situation… forward the mail that Pule didn’t reply on… the fact that I didn’t even receive any policy documents… he explained that they will listen to the recording and investigate the situation, the day goes by (Now I’m boiling, they scheduled to re-debit my account, this time including and additional R 100 penalty, the next day). I sent Job a mail explaining how shocking the lack of communication and inconvenience was (I sent this after work, guess that makes me extremely “unprofessional”). Today (next day) I get a response that they will come back to me (Yeah, I’m sure) as they need to get information form the dealership that I bought the car form (Wait, WHAT? What does the dealership have to do with this? 1st of all the car was released on a loan form from the dealership, 2nd of all the contract, that has nothing to do with the insurance company or broker was signed on Miway’s proof of Insurance) I called back to speak to Pule’s manager, to request the recording. (Hold on to your seat, you won’t see this coming) he was not available and did not return any of my calls or messages to call me back. Today I called back asking for the recordings yet again, I was informed that no I cannot get them as Job will play it back to me when his investigation has been completed (Loving this transparent business model) Ross continued that Job will be the only person that can resolve my issue (Fair enough, not your job, I get that) Ross attempted to put me through to Job (Ding! Ding! Ding! You guessed it!! Job was not at his desk!! ) Ross promised that Job will call me back within 10 min (as understanding as I am, I said cool I’ll give him 20 min to come back) Ross ensured that he will be stepping out or in a meeting (or whatever it is they do when you try and speak to them) and if Job did not call me, he will call me (I even very nicely asked that they not call my cell phone as there is no reception in my office) and now here we are more than an hour later, No Job, No Ross and me writing this review… next step, insurance ombudsman…
