BROTHER SOUTH AFRICA SEWING MACHINES

I am not a happier person, 3 weeks ago my friend and daughter gave me a Brother GS3700 sewing machine for a gift and I am struggling to read the instructions on both u-tube and manual. So I emailed Brother Elite Sewing and Embroidery in Pretoria, which I requested information on training on my machine in my area, I got a phone call on Monday, 13 June from a lady at this establishment and was told if I need a warranty from who I bought the machine from, from which I told her it was gift, nothing was said on Tuesday that I need the invoice would be a warranty (the said machine was bought fromTakelot), I was also told that I would have to pay for lessons on this machine, which I am not happy about.

This is not unsatisfactory service from Brother Sewing Machines South Africa. I have sat on the phone to Takelot for nearly three hours and still could not get through to their customer services to see if they could send me a warranty.

I feel I cannot ask my friend for the invoice as this is bad manners especially when a gift has been given.
