STILL WAITING FOR STATEMENT
I have a discovery credit card which is outstanding the above company contacted me years ago about this card and we had made payment arrangements. However due to unemployment for a long time I was unable to make the payments. I lost the account number and went to FNB Bank but they could not help me. Since then that was about 3 years ago they did not communicate with me in anyway no letters or notification or anything they did however put my name on the credit bureau. I have recently been employed so I asked my wife to contact them and ask them to send through the statement so that I may see how much is outstanding as I don't have access to a phone during the day and I finish work to late in order to call from home. My wife called twice they sent through the FNB banking details when my wife told them that we will be doing an EFT payment. They insist that they have sent the statement through yet we have given two email addresses and nothing has come through. How am I to make a payment if I don't know what I owe. I am trying to clear my name and pay whomever I owe now that I am able to. Please can the statement be sent.
We refer to the complaint received on 17 February 2015 and hereby confirm that we act on behalf of FNB Bank.
We further confirm that the matter has been escalated to our Attorney overseeing the respective portfolio for investigation.
We will be in contact with the complainant in an attempt to resolve the issue and trust that this matter will be resolved amicably.
