Responding to Standard Bank_A|_s reponse-21 Oct
Standard Bank got Brooks&Luyt 2 answer 2 my hellopeter complaint.B&L phoned me 27 Oct.I was telling the lady my complaint & then when I asked if it's legal 2 make business calls at night, suddenly without warning a man,Moses, spoke on the phone.
I asked him 2x if he was a lawyer or callcentre operator,he didn't answer.I told him if he wasn't a lawyer,it's useless 2 talk 2 him.After some discussion/questions,Moses said he'll consult SB.
I was surprised 2 get an SMS 8 hrs later from B&L stating I didn't pay my account for Oct & I must pay within 24 hrs 2 avoid further action.I got another SMS next day & again 3 Nov.Is this called solving my complaint? What payment is this for exactly?I have no idea.
It seems SB uses cheap line law firms. The people working at this firm don't seem 2 be knowledgeable on legal matters,or know the correct terms,or know how 2 solve complaints.
My dad made a complaint against ABSA.Although he didn't get a satisfactory response, the response was a bit better than SB/B&L.He thought ABSA was the laziest bank, but it seems SB is worse-they just pass the complaint on 2 the law firm, whereas ABSA handled it themselves.
I will NOT pay that 'debt',I DON'T owe SB,SB
