No paid up letter after multiple requests

My FNB account was paid up on 27 February 2017. I was told that I'll get my paid up letter after 7 days so as to ensure that the transaction wasn't reversed.

I've since phoned in twice requesting said paid up letter, each time being told you'll send it to my email address.

I've now phoned in again and was told that you cannot pick up my account on your system and that it was probably closed by the bank. That's fine and all, but I still want my paid up letter for my own records indicating that the account was indeed paid up in full with Brooks & Luyt.

Please would someone just hand-hold a someone who works with the Accounts until it actually gets sent?

Thanks.

We seem to have gone from bad to worse with this... :(
A "Terrence" phoned me at 11:46 today from Brooks & Luyt, number ***; "informing" me that there is an outstanding amount of R200-odd on my account - requesting payment!? I mentioned again that the account was paid up with a settlement amount provided by Brooks & Luyt. Terrence then continued with "yes but if you can maybe just pay this amount then we can close it off etc etc". NO!?
This after the account was meant to be settled on 27th February 2017? Let's be very clear on this matter:
1) I've been paying my FNB account off with Brooks & Luyt every month in the amount of R2000.
2) After January's deduction we knew that there would be a little amount outstanding should only R2000 be deducted again at the end of February, so I enquired as to settlement amount
3) A settlement amount of R2293,44 was provided to me, which I accepted; and the debit order was adjusted for the final deduction to include the entire settlement amount
4) The amount was deducted from my bank account on 27th February
5) I enquired about my paid up letter
6) Phoned and enquired 2 more times regarding paid up letter - nothing

8) Receive call from Brooks & Luyt indicating outstanding amount and requesting MORE payments!?
This is UNACCEPTABLE! I don't know what happened and it's not my problem either. I paid my settlement amount and expect the account to be closed with paid up letter provided!
Whatever is going on needs to be sorted out internally between you and FNB.
Please finalize this matter and forward paid up letter!

Matter has been resolved. Paid up letter received.
Thanks Terrence & Carmen, appreciate it!
Upgrading your rating with 1 star as it's been resolved, but if your call centre wasn't harassing me every single month even though no payments were ever missed via DEBIT ORDER; I would've up'd you with 2 stars ;)
The constant phone calls during same month from different call centre agents "confirming" the exact same thing over and over drove me up the wall!!
