Harassment of Clients
Since 27 September 2018 I have been harassed by the abovementioned no less than 9 times a day. The agents fail to provide me with the information on how my details have been obtained (again have not listed my personal, professional number with service providers) and was threatened by an agent for payment due on a Edgars account. Noted that I need to ensure payment is made, what I fail to understand is how the agents are not able to respond on email as to verify information as well as the banking details. I reiterate no arrangements or legal documentation has been signed off to allow representation on my behalf so not sure how they could advise that payment of Rx, xx is required by the nearest mall when I have not been spoken to or the moment of the call is so great the line is dropped in my ear. Where is the line drawn for harassment received from the abovementioned as I feel that they are in breech of a number of acts and legislation set in place to protect consumers against the violation of their personal information, harassment and ************ from the company. As I have not consented to be contacted or my information sold off to the abovementioned, I expect that this be honored and other communication methods are utilized like I don't know Email when a query is sent for response. Should the harassment continue I will be pursing legal action against the company as again I have made a conceited attempt to contact them on email in order to have some proof a payment plan has been set in place - sadly as the ill-equipped agent advised last week "We need to talk about your problems and stop hiding as payment is due" surely there are some filters these people are provided with when dealing with clients? Or is this now the norm to threaten, harass and purse members of the public?
