Extremely disappointed in Brooks and Luyt!!

My experience with Brooks and Luyt has been disastrous 😞 @ first everything started off well. Up until I received a text msg with my outstanding balance on debt that I have been paying since June 2021. To date and according to my knowledge as well as all the proof of payments that I have in my possession I have paid an amount of R44 000 to Brooks and Luyt only to receive information from a call center agent that they have only received an amount of R16 000. Mind you, I have had to call in to ask what my outstanding balance was after requesting this from them for months and receiving no feedback! When telling the advisor that I don't feel comfortable making any further payments up until my "missing payments" are found I was then told "well that is entirely up to you but interest will be added'. No empathy or concern is shown. You are made to feel like you don't matter. I am extremely disappointed as myself and my wife are pensioners and I have been trying my best to be able to meet this financial obligation every month and not miss a single paymemt . Only to be told that after paying R4000 every month for the last 11 months, you have only received R16 000 from me! Your agents make empty promises to call back or send statements and they drop the call when you call through or after requesting to speak to a manager the call also gets disconnected. Can someone please assist or offer some advice as I am totally @ a loss now as what to do .
