Buying a book full of debt and trying to bully people

A lady called me to speak to my husband about credit card debt that she says he has. I said to her that he’s in Tanzania where we live and we, (married in community) 1. never had a credit card at FNB. That we can remember 2. We owe FNB nothing AND 3. we stay in Tanzania for the last 4 years and before that we've been staying in Ghana for 2 years. So IF we ever had any debt at FNB that neither of us can remember then this debt that they talk of must have PRESCRIBED as it would be older than 3 years. NOW I get sms's on my husband's SA cell warning him that he has not yet made a payment that he promised.(how could he promise this as he’s in TZ?) They say: Neither of us made such a promise. Sms says: A summons has been issued and served on you. We will now approach the court to grant a judgement. Judgement will stand against us for 30 years and will definitely affect our ability to obtain credit in the future negatively. My husband is in Tz. I am on holiday here sorting out stuff at SA home. I told the lady that I have forwarded all these threatening sms's to my cousin at Noseweek who WILL investigate this bullying tactic further. They want to make a false paper trail to show that they made contact with him and that he promised to make a payment. This will not stand up in court as his passport will show he is not in the country.

Once again being harassed by Brooks & Luyt Attorneys early this morning. She has the odassity to tell me that I have to proof to her that this account has prescribed!!! I said that she has to proof it to me. Luckily, I keep all the texts on file and I have her call to me recorded and I told her that the call has been recorded. WE DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH FNB!!! I have an appointment with Garth at the Law Society on Monday and I'm waiting for the Consumer Commisioner to call me back.
