Balance is not changing even if I pay

I have nedbank personal loan Wich its been handed to brooksluyt attorney because I lost the job,last year August or towards the end I don't remember the exact month but it was towards the end I called them asking if can consider debtriview to avoid interest but they say the account is no longer generating any interest and this year I called around September they said I'm owing 100000 now am calling again it still says 100000 like the amount is not changing but Im paying 5500 every month I only skipped one month,when I call they're telling me stories.
