Back and forth.. Whats going on at Brook and Luyt's?
I had an Absa account handed over to Brooks Luyt and I had come to the final month of repayment via debit order. Before the final debit order could be processed I called in and asked their agents to please close the account once the debit order has gone through, the agent confirmed that it indeed was the final month and once the payment went through he would send me a letter of closure confirming that it was complete.
I didn't receive that letter however nor did i get a call from them until about 2 months later when I get a call from their supervisor Samuel Ndlovu, who tells me that i have accidentally been debited again and now he needs to reverse they debit, furious that this has happened after I had called them to prevent this from happening! i then send Samuel Ndlovu my bank statement on his request so he can now return the R488 that was taken from my account. He assures me that the money will be payed into my account in 4 working days. After 4 working days the money is still not payed into my account, i then call Samuel Ndlovu and i don't get a hold him. Only to receive a call from another Brooks Lyut agent who tells me that in fact there has been another mess up and I am still in arrears!! I have absolutely no idea whats going on now nobody at Brookks and Luyt seems competent enough to tell me whats happening and why I still have not received a damn letter to say that i will not be debited or to return the money that was debited from me till this day i have no idea whats going in!!
I need clarity on this situation and i am extremely frustrated and disappointed in the clear incompetence of Brook and Luyt's employees from the Supervisor Samuel Ndlovu through to his agents!
