Arrogance knows no bounds...

This firm of attornies has operators which-surprisingly for a \legal\" firm- do not, in my view, have any knowledge of the law. They have called my mobile number repeatedly looking for a third party. When I ask, as I am entitled to, for them to tell me which firm they represent they refuse. When I told the latest operator that, in terms of the ECT act I was issuing a demand that they remove my number from their list I was glibly told \"You are asking me to remove it? I cannot do that.\" When I said that the person they were looking for was not in any way related to my number she said \"How do you know that?\" Duh! Only because this is my mobile number for decades and I registered it. What you are doing now, is ******* and, unless you confirm you have removed the number from your database within 48 hours and I get a written undertaking form the managing partner that your firm will no longer harrass me, I will lay a ******** complaint in terms of the ECT act, lodge a complaint with every law society in whose jusrisdiction you operate and also lay a complaint with the credit ombudsman. Stop your ******** hassling of me! (In the interim, all my further rights remain reserved.)"
