Arrogance and ***** way of doing things by Brooks and Luyt

Brooks and Luyt

In April they convinced me to setup a debit order which i did, less did i know that they want to chao my money. I have been paying via the debit order since April and last month i called them to request the balance. To my sursprice, the balance was the same as when i set up the debit order the first time. i was made to call standardbank for the balance. Standard bank send me back to them anvd it is only this time that i was told by the supervisor that they werent allocating my payenments correctly. She promised to call me telling me that the process will take 7 working days. I never received a call, instead i was sent a message that my account is in seriously arrears and they are taking further steps. I called today and a guy by the name Andile told me that they sent me summons on the 24th, the same day i requested balance. I have not received any summons and even today my account balance hasnt changed. Andile told me that it is because of legal charges which he didnt tell me how much they are and he further told me that standardbank is charging me as well. I requested to talk to the supervisor and they told me that the supervisor will call me in 5 min. I called them back after 10min of not receiving a call and i was told by the same guy that the supervisor is very busy, they will call me once available. I requested that they cancil the debit order and they told me to send emails. Are they a real legal firm? If so why are they behaving like this? I am going to get legal aid with this matter. For all you know they are charging us a arm and a leg.
