Poor Service fro Bronberg

First off, Id like to say it wasn't like this in the beginning. In the beginning I had a lot of outages but its normal from what I understand , not just with Bronberg but with other ISPs as well. My problem began on the 4th of November 2018. I got home to find there is an outage again. This outage was different though. There was internet connection but it was very very slow with latency around 500 m.s - 1200 m.s ,. I called the support centre and they couldn't fix it remotely so they decided to send out a technician. Eventually when the technician showed up, he did a few tests and told me that there are trees in the way between the dish and the tower. Keeping in mind that the internet connection was fine until that Sunday, how in the hell could trees be the problem??! A tree doesn't just sprout up over a weekend. He then told me that they would have to lift the dish with a pole. I told him its fine and that wouldn't be necessary as they could do that after we move to a new suburb in the same town. After he left, more or less a week after, the internet was up again and with speeds 3x times the speed I was paying for. Naturally I didn't complain and I used it until we had to move.

One week before moved I decided to make sure Bronberg was up to speed with the arrangements for the relocation that would take place on the 1st of December. They were up to speed and it sounded like the were ready and informed. Unfortunately, on the day of the move they didn't pitch or call. I called them and I was told that there was a mistake with booking ( it wasn't booked) and that they would send technicians to move the dish to the new house the following day. The following day came and they pitched up and removed the dish and arrived at the house. However, it sounded like two high school girls on the roof. Giggling and horseplay were the order of the day. When they finally got off the roof ,after all the laughter and almost falling off the roof, followed by more laughter, they told me that there isn't any line of sight the tower and there was nothing they could do. I asked about fitting a pole and they said they didn't have a pole long enough. After they left I was given a invoice for the relocation and call out but this I refused to pay since nothing was really done. Luckily, they s****ped the invoice but not a word was uttered about this issue again. That is until I called again around the 4th Of December. From here on the pathetic service started.

I spoke to a lady at sales called Meriette Ploeger who was supposed to assist me in solving the issue. Her reply time to my emails ranged from 2 days to 10 days. In the mean time I had to pay the amount of R 752 but with no internet connection even present at my house. Only on the 21 st of December a resolution was reached and I accepted a new package with 100GB data pm with a LTE-A Huawei router for R 530 excluding the router cost. The delivery was supposed to take place between 21/12/2018 and 30/12/2018 but guess what.. They gave the courier company the WRONG ADDRESS. After a whole month of emails, calls and bills added, they end up messing up one of the core elements of this whole issue. Needless to say, the delivery was postponed. I only received the delivery on the 4th of January 2019. Bronberg was so nice they even sent me two packages. Two routers each with a simcard. Why? Because they can. The best part of it was that I only realised now that I'm being billed for the old connection and both router packages. I'm not even making this up, its on their client portal.

So to sum up, they don't care about their customers, they don't put in effort from their side to help and they bill you all the way. It never was like this, as I said but now it seems more apparent. Once you sign up and you start paying, they don't give a f*ck. I will give feedback to anyone as to what happens after this review. I'm hoping they will wake up.

Good day - we firstly want to apologize for the inconvenience you experienced.
It is unacceptable not to pitch up for appointments and all the other service issues that you experienced.  This has been dealt with from our side and  the people responsible has been reprimanded.
We really wanted to help you out after we could not provide line of sight after the relocation, and suggested LTE.
Unfortunately there is a third party involved with LTE and there is connection issues on their side.
We have been assured that this will be sorted soon.
We have also credited your account for the last month.
As you discussed with Abi this morning, you will test the link again this evening and give us feedback.
We want to give you our assurance that this issue takes high priority and we will not stop until you are 100% satisfied.  Kind regards, Bronberg Connect staff.
