Ordered Fibre, got a terrible microwave instead.

Things I've learned about this ISP and why you or your body corporate should be wary of entering into agreements with Bronberg connect:

Bronberg Connect do not provide a true 1 to 1 fibre connection even though that was what was promised and sold to us, more on that below. Bronberg Connect provide a Wireless Internet service or WISP for short.

This means that you are basically using 5G (in principle), with your connection's stability being based on your home/complex's line of sight in conjunction with their towers which results in the following:

Thunderstorms? -No internet.

Wind blowing? -No internet.

Your house is geographically impeded by the shoddy planning with regards to where the microwaves (through which WISP provides internet) are supposed to be coming or going from? -Poor internet connection with intermittent speeds.

Boswell Wilkie Circus in town? No internet because their management are all attending, writing down tips on how to run their business.

Bronberg Connect do not advertise the fact that their "fibre" use WISP to connect you to the internet, neither do their agreements state that you are paying for WISP. We explicitly stated that we were looking for fibre internet and furnished Bronberg with our address. They stated that fibre was available and we signed an agreement accordingly.

Fast forward 2 years and I am met with a technical support operator informing me that there is a line of sight issue and they have logged the complaint. Now please, explain to me when and how do fibre optics require a line of sight?

Here is what Bronberg advertise on their website:

"FIBRE We provide lightning fast fibre internet, from SA’s leading open access fibre providers, to homes and businesses throughout Pretoria and Gauteng. The open access providers lay the fibre optic cables that connect to either your house (Fibre to the Home – FTTH) or to your business premises (Fibre to the Business – FTTB"

Wow, this is amazing and exactly what I'm used to when I think about fibre internet but let's compare the above-mentioned to their Wireless option:

Versus their Wireless option:

"WIRELESS INTERNET We provide super-fast and reliable fixed wireless broadband to homes and businesses throughout Pretoria and Gauteng. Our team installs an antenna on your roof which connects wirelessly to our nearest high site."

Please enlighten me, Bronberg Connect, which one suits my problem best as stated by your technical support team?

Please also explain to me how this does not constitute false advertising or ********** misrepresentation in that your sales team knowingly omitted important information when we specifically requested fibre and acted in accordance with the information and agreement as provided by your sales team?

Furthermore, whenever we call Bronberg Connect to obtain technical support they have maintained ****il recently, Thank you D!) that the connection is stable on their end and if they were to dispatch a technical team, to investigate the issue, that they would charge us a call out fee if they did not find anything wrong with the connection! Ah yes, nothing like having policies that make your paying customers feel like they are imagining the problems they are experiencing!

Please tell me, how many other complexes and estates have problems with your internet or the service you provide as consistently as we have? How many others complain as much as we do due to the down time we experience? I have been informed by a technical support agent, that other estates or complexes hardly ever experience issues (FALSE otherwise this hellopeter thread would have been empty). How can you, as a business, not fix your APPARENT only problem estate/complex, Bronberg connect?

I want to make it abundantly clear that I have no issue with the technical support team as they can only address what is in front of them or what information is available to them. Thanks for your patience and willingness to help!

Management... the only fibre we have in our home is contained in the Kellogg's All Bran serial in the kitchen cupboard.
