Worst Insurance Experiance Ever

I have a car and home content insurance with Brolink administered by Santam. I was involved in a car accident on the 17th of December 2016 and my claim was approved on the 22nd of December 2016 and senior motors was appointed as the repairer. Senior motors advice me that they will be starting with the repairs on the 1st week of January 2017 as they where closing for the December holiday and they will start working on the car the 1st week of January 2017.

In Mid January 2017 Senior Motors advice me that the cost of repairing the car have escalated as the assessor did not do a full inspection of the car as more damages to the engine that needed some repairing and Brolink approved.

On the 13th of February finally the car was ready for collection and to my dismay as I was driving out of the repairs workshop the car started loosing engine power and the engine light was flashing. I took back the car to the repairer and I was advised they will investigate.

On the 14th of February the car was taken to Audi Hatfield in Pretoria and and it was there till 16th of February.I called senior motors wanting to know the whereabouts of my car as they where not forthcoming with any info for two days and the told me it was taken to an approved engine repair. I asked if the approved engine repairer was Audi and they said "YES". I called Audi Hatfield to find out about the status of the car but to my disappointment the vehicle was not in their position as it have left their workshop on the 16th of February without the problem being fixed.

I then called my broker and she advised me to "CALL" the assessor who said the car was removed from Audi because it was expensive to repair and they had to take it to a third party repairer.

On the 16th of March 2017 three months after my accident I decided to go search for my car as my Broker, Brolink, Senior Motors and the assessor were telling different stories about the status of the car. I managed to track it at Pro-logic Auto Electrical which is a backyard workshop that is in a residential area and my car has been with them for a full month and week (16 February- 23 March).

Then finally the car was ready for collection on the 23rd of March 2017 (three months later) and to my horror I found my car in a worst state and the following was not in order.
Engine light still on and the mechanic said I must at my own cost change the computer box.
1 bolt off the front right Tyre as the log nut is missing and I had to drive with a missing bolt.
Engine cover off and missing.
No water in the engine (drove 11 KM's the the car started overheating after I collected the vehicle)
Rear bumper started falling when I got home
Car not starting properly as it over starts for couple of second before the engine starts idleling
Engine noise while in motion
Car sits has oil on the driver side
Car not washed and dirty with birds feces on the windscreen and bonnet
My question is why should I pay insurance on time every month and still receive the worst service from Brolink?
Why wasn't the vehicle taken to Audi for the engine repairs?
