Worse Cheats ever

I took insurance with Brolink via Absa. On the first of July i was in an accident and followed procedure that needs to be done. On the 19th I went to Absa to get status of the car and when my brocker called the panelbeaters to get the status of the car, we were informed the car is moved to SMD. She then called the Maimela Rakgate who is Brolink agent and he was just apologetic on them moving the car without our knowledge. He then said I should write a letter and request for the car to be collected and fixed becuase the cost are not 75% of the value, which I did, even went to the dealer to ask if I will not loose warranty of the car and they adviced I will not.

Today after numerous request for feedback of a letter that was written on the 26th, Maimela only responded today saying that they can fix the car becuase it is a 2015 model and that we have to buy it from SMD.

I am very upset. Brolink is using a bullying system towards me and its just not far nor right.

Good day

Your vehicle was found to be uneconomical to repair, and as per normal procedure moved to the salvage dealer’s yard. Settlement in favor of the finance house will be calculated as per the terms and conditions of your policy contract. Should you have any other queries on your claim, we request that you make direct contact with our claims department who will assist with anything that might still be unclear to you.

Kind regards,

Brolink Claims Department

Reviewer Update

I was informed that as long as my claim is less than 75% it should be oh **** to fix. All of a sudden my car is moved without my knowledge and no communication done until I asked. I went to the dealer as requested to find out about warranty and all and I did that. Now your agent does not even have the decency to call me and tell me, he's even not answering my nails and that is why I came to Hellp Peter. I am not happy nor satisfied. Please have someone call me.
