Still waiting for my excess to be paid out. Ridiculous!!

In August 2016 my car got bumped from behind. This was not my fault. My car was fixed (although i really did not like the preferred provider, which i had to go out of my way to get to). But never the less the car was fixed. I had to pay an excess of R1800.00. I was told that this amount would be reimbursed to me as the accident wasn't my fault, as I was bumped from the back.

Brolink informed me that they send my recovery claim to the legal department, and they will recover the monies. I constancly have to ask what is happening with my recovery claim and I always get told that Miway is still waiting to confirm the merits with their insured. So what I would like to know if why does it take four months and more for Mi-way to fnd out what the merits of their insured is??? This just sounds ***** and I'm beginning to wonder if Brolink does not want to pay me back my excess amount. It has been 4 months of back and forth communication with the legal team and I still don't have my money.

I am the one that has to follow up and I keep getting the same story. How long does it take for them to pay and what is the point of having a legal team at Bro Link if they aren't able to claim for the third party and pay back my money on time? How long do i have to be out of pocket (well so far it's been four months), as this was not my fault, and I can't see why I have to suffer because of other people being careless!!!

Miway should pay as their insured should be responsible for the claim, and I can't see why they need to take so long.... sounds like stolling tactics to me! I have been very patient up to now, but right now I am very frustrated. I need my money to be paid into my account ASAP. I pay my insurance on time, and is never late and I deserve to have my money paid back and not have to wait for almost 5 months to be reimbursed!!! This matter must be resolved urgently, as it is getting to the point of being rediculous!
