Refusing to acknowledge claim due to certain clause
I put in a claim for damaged roof sheeting that was caused by animals that fell through it . I’ve had too and forth emails to them and from them . They refused the claim saying that my policy clearly states that domestic animals is not covered . There is a clause that says any impact on any sort of the dwelling by animal is an insured event . They then sent me a clause saying that any damage to the property by your own domestic pets is not covered . Yet I don’t own any domestic pets . So why do they then refuse to acknowledge my claim although the exclusion clearly states your own domestic pets . And I don’t own any domestic pets . So surely I must be covered . This claim was lodged on the 2nd July until now even the rejection department didn’t tell me the outcome . Yet the clause they refusing to put the claim through doesn’t apply to me as I don’t own any domestic pets . It says your own domestic pets . It doesn’t say feral or neighbors domestic pets .
