Pricing ****

I had had a claim settled for goods that were ****** from my house. I am forced to replace my jewelry at Diamond Jewelers International. They are based at Monte Casino and their goods are all priced in USD. For one of the bracelets that was ******, they wanted to charge me R2650 after I received a 25%. That means that the items selling price was R3530 before discount. I went to another jeweler and found the exact same chain (size and weight) at R2550 with no discount that means that I the consumer is being *****ed for R980 .... The same app**** to the camera and the Garmin. I had to go to The Digital Experience, I could get the Garmin for the same price at Due south and I could get the camera R40 cheaper else where. This was after Brolink / Santam have negotiated better pricing with the store.<br> <br> I am taking this to the consumer protector and to the Insurance Ombudsman as we are being done in by the Insurance industry ... I would not complain if they replaced all the ****** goods at todays value but out of a R62 000 claim, they paid R18 400 short.
