Insurance claim

I had damage to my vehicle early December and could only take my car in to the panel shop (Renew it Randburg) early January. I was then given a courtesy car. The extent of the damage was explained to the assessor. The panel shop called me to collect my car only to find that one of the tyres was flat. Now after having had the vehicle for 25+ days, the assessor and the panel shop are now saying that the tyre is not part of the claim. Yet I notified the assessor and the insurance thereof. I only had one spare wheel which replaced the one tyre that was bad and the other tyre wasn't as bad as i could pump it. This was repeatedly communicated to the insurance company as i had to pump the tyre daily and the insurance consultant advised that i should notify the panel shop thereof. Which i did, now after 30 days because im complaining that the tyre had to be sorted, they are saying its not part of the claim and i was negligent. Imagine. I had a break in and this is the damage caused which to them translates to negligent.
