Hi. I am have a problem with brolink also. My car was in a small accident over a week ago. My wife was at her uncles funeral when the incident happened. Around 8 at night on a Sunday the car jumped gear and rolled down a ditch. A passer by helped her take the car out. It was dark and the car seemed fine with some cosmetic damages but looked OK to drive. She and my baby left for home and about 2 km away the display showed low oil pressure. She couldn't stop immediately because it was a dangerous area and she was alone with the child so she drove about a km down the road to a nearby hospital where she called me for help. I went to her and tried to start the car but it didn't. It just turned and nothing seemed wrong. The engine sounded healthy. I checked the oil and it was empty. I found that the sump was damaged so I towed the car home. I told brolink what happened. The vehicle was towed on Wednesday to their repairer and underwent assessment for the cosmetic damage. I also foned the repairer to find out about my car and they asked what was wrong with it and that it won't start. It seemed as though they weren't notified that the sump was damaged and that there was no oil. I was worried so I went to the shop and found the car stripped and that the battery was dead. That will happen with excessive cranking of the engine. I just hope no further damage was incurred while they did that. When I followed up with brolink they said that they waiting for authorization for the engine as the vehicle was driven after the accident and might not be covered. Note that it was a lady driver with a child in a dangerous area. She drove till it was safe to stop. Further more its over a week and I am without a car and I have to borrow everyday. Their repairer said they will take 3 weeks to fix my car whereas I was referred to another panelbeater by the local Toyota dealership who can do it in 3 days while they sort the engine side of it. I told brolink that I found a shop that can give me my car in 3 days instead of 3 weeks and I was told that I can choose to cancel the claim and take it to my repairer. Having insurance supposed to give u peace of mind but I have more stress. My policy states that they can choose to repair or pay out the settlement and I can have it repaired. The option of me have my car in 3 days or 3 weeks. What would u choose. I am the client so why don't we have a say. The other reason I don't want this repairer is that they are overbooked with work. My close friends car went in for bumper repairs. The estimated time for repair was 1 week. It's over a month and his vehicle is still there. I don't blame my claims handler but I need to be updated. They also need to look after the clients best interest as they don't know we not having a car is effecting our daily lives. All I want is for brolink to consider the alternate panelbeater and they can pay him directly so I can have my car sooner. I tried to contact the team leader or manager in charge with this Monday with no satisfaction hence this complaint.

Hi. I have sent the invoice and recent photos of the car to show that the car was previously repaired. It took over a day to get back to me. I already know the outcome due to other complaints on this site. You not going to settle my claim and u will cancel my policy no matter what proof I provide. That's just the way URL operate. U waited for month end debits to go through and you get my money and then URL don't really care about the client. Its be to weeks with no car. Begging and borrowing so we can go to work. Please update me so I can have it repaired and back on the road with or without ur help. Thanks
