Brolink is ********* don't insure with them

My name is Philadelphia Chauke and my Policy number is ***5*009*001 short term insurance with AFSCC and my reference number is ***. Under Brolink Contact *** for House Contents. I had a house breaking and theft in my house on the 15th July 2023 and my 3 TV's which is 2x Sumsang flat screen 32" and 1x 42" Sony flat screen were ******. I reported the case with the SAPS case number CAS 216/7/2023 allocated to me. I also reported it to the above mentioned insurance on Monday 17 July 2024 to claim for the replacement of my TV's and I was informed that the Assessor will come to conduct an assessment on 19 July 2023 an assessment was conducted through question and physical inspection in the house was also done. The assessors made a long list of all my house contents which she determined that they all cost R300. 000 and she indicated that according to her observation my house contents were currently under insured with the amount of R160. 000 at the time of house breaking compared to the list she made and that i might be compensated with the little amount to replace my ****** TV's or might not even get any replacement.

My question to the Assessor was how was I supposed to know or determine the amount of my house contents because I was never asked to provide the list of my house contents when I purchased the short term insurance and only to be told that I'm under insured when the insurance is supposed to compensate or replace my ****** property.

The Assessor sent me the terms and conditions which is vague and not clear about providing the list of house contents and also not saying how the calculations for the compensation are concluded or what informs it.

The insurance is being unfair to me for the Assessor taking a list of house contents after the incident. If the insurance feel that I am under insured with R160. 000 as they claim why am I not compensated for the ****** property of which is under the amount I'm currently insured with because it is under R160. 000.

Since the incident the process has been very slowly and I have last heard from them that they are processing my claim on the 25 July 2023.

Attached is the terms and conditions the Assessor provided.

What I want is for the insurance to be fair and for the replacement of my ****** house contents as I was not initially or never asked to provide the house contents list from the beginning.

Hello Peter please intervene on the matter.
