Unfair practices cause uneccesary costs

Its a shame you don't reply on hellopeter, says a lot about your company, so this is more a warning for others.

My wife and I shared a suitcase and when checking the luggage in, I was advised the bag was over the allowance. No problem, we are sharing I told them and I was told in no uncertain terms that unless we had 2 separate bags, we would have to pay extra.

With a limit of 23kg per bag, we could take 46kg between the two of us at no extra charge but would have to pay in R600 for a single 25kg bag. Any reasonable person would know that's ridiculous but since I had no other bag to split the excess with, I had no choice but to pay the difference as the bag had already been sent down the conveyor belt.
