Treated really badly and then u cancel our flights

<p>We recently had to travel from Durban to Dublin. Upon arriving at Johannesburg airport and wanting to check in for our flight we were told by a very very rude Stallion Security officer that we are not allowed on the flight whivh has caused huge financial loss Reason for refusal: no transit visa and I believe that this is at the discretion of the official....... Although the company in Ireland that booked only my flight checked and confirmed that we would be able to travel as we met all the requirements below which we and the company had stressed to this rude official over and over again<br />Transiting without a visa<br />You might be eligible for ‘transit without visa’ if:<br />you arrive and depart by air<br />have a confirmed onward flight that leaves on the day you arrive or before midnight on the day after you arrive<br />have the right documents for your destination (for example a visa for that country)<br /> <br />This official also just took our passports and walked off. He then came back with copies and as far as I know, he is not allowed to do this without my permission. I pointed this out and asked him if I can please see the "rule book" he kept waving atound and he refused and walked off and just left us standing at the counter.<br /> <br />The person behind the counter then put the ticket on hold and said I must book with another airline. After this very traumatic ordeal and f being stuck on OR Tambo with a child I was told by various people who checked that he should have allow d us through based on the details above. <br /> <br />I firmly believe that this incident had some racial ************** to it and the money I have lost because of this was unnecessary and await your positive response on the way forward.</p>
