Whilst every effort is made to overcome this type of problems, but despite the many precautions taken any system that involves both human and mechanical interaction can be prone to failure.
However in terms of British Airways Comair's General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and Baggage, we do not accept liability for the loss, delay or damage to baggage . We also do not accept liability for the loss of, or damage to fragile or perishable articles, electronic equipment, mobile phones, money, jewelry, securities or valuables, business documents, passports or other identification documents or samples which are included in the passengers checked or unchecked baggage.
