STOP STALLING MY REFUND!

Comair British Airways/ Comair Vitality Travel is by far the most PATHETIC and USELESS company that I have EVER come across!

I had flights booked through Vitality Travel with British Airways (operated by Comair) for March which was cancelled due to the Comair grounding in South Africa. I requested my refund online on the 16th and also sent emails to Vitality Travel to confirm that everything is in order (no response).

One week after, I phoned Vitality Travel and they advised me that it shows "Refund in Progress" on my booking reference, and that everything is in order for the refund to be processed. Weeks go by, I hear nothing.

Earlier this week (we're on week 7 post cancellation), I eventually received an email response on one of the several emails I sent initially. In this email they informed me that they had only logged the refund ticket then, and that it might take 6-8 weeks for processing. This is after I had already requested 7 weeks ago and confirmed afterwards telephonically, that it was already in order. I emailed them back. No response.

I phoned the next day, and was advised that they agree they can see I did log it initially and that they will escalate the matter to accounts and request them to expedite the process on my refund request (since I had submitted it 7 weeks ago already at this point).

Since then I have not received any feedback and my emails are being completely ignored. Despite sending SEVERAL, even including the person who said that I must include them directly to follow up.

I phoned again today, speaking to someone else, who said that they will follow up, and that they promise I will get an email from them within 1 to 2 hours with a progress update. I have still not received anything and it's already COB.

My patience and run out on this company completely. I WANT MY REFUND AND I WANT IT NOW.

You have absolutely NO RIGHT to be stalling this process as much as possible, and holding onto the funds I paid for my tickets (services paid for but not rendered) and having it accrue interest while in your account.

At this point, Comair, you are holding onto money which is not rightly yours, and stalling the return thereof. I believe this is called *****ING.
