Poor service at check-in counter and no response from Comair
I was appalled by the service received from the check in agent for the captioned domestic flights on 1 January 2020. My parents are elderly and were treated very poorly by the check in agent at the counters to retrieve their tickets. Please investigate the name of the female agent. She was not in uniform and was not easily identifiable. My father is 71 years old and the agent has absolutely no respect for customers, let alone elders. Her exact words were: “Put your first bag on the scale.” The second phrase was “ turn your suitcase with the handle facing upward”. She never used the words “please” or “thank you”. During the entire check-in process, the rude agent opted to have a casual discussion with the check-in agent at the counter next to her rather than attend to the customer directly in front of her. These were business class seats, however, I would assume that even if they were economy bookings, general terminology and manners should be natural to a person. Needless to say, my elderly parents were very shaken by the bad manners and I did not want to agitate them further so I resolved to contact your customer relations department thereafter.
Please investigate this and revert to me in order for me to take this forward. I have written directly to Comair and have had any feedback.
